Creative Director/Graphic Designer/Professional Photographer

Robertson Media Group publishers of YOUR Williamson magazine with several new community publications coming; www.yourwilliamson.com online magazine; providers of graphics, photography and integrated marketing services, and producers of multiple community events annually – is HIRING IMMEDIATELY a full time Creative Director/Graphic Designer/Professional Photographer for our company.

Without exception, the following criteria must be met before interview process can commence:


MUST be proficient in: InDesign CC, Photoshop, Word Press, and Illustrator. Proficiency defined by the ability to conduct full business without supervision. Must be creative, think outside the box, follow direction but provide insight and direction on the creative aspects of the print and digital platforms as well as provide client services and produce work in tandem with a number of unique and different projects.

Must be astute at ALL Social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, EMMA, and You-Tube etc. Astute defined here as capable of interacting and engaging appropriately on all of these platforms as well as technically astute at the programs, changes, design, integration etc. Must have experience in building and maintaining a word press website with multiple plug ins etc.

Must possess personal MAC laptop with soft ware as described, preferred. Must have personal cell phone and vehicle to conduct company business. Must be willing and able to commit to a work schedule of weekly day-to-day in office, some nights and weekends as needed.

MUST be able to copy edit work, be highly detail oriented with an ownership and pride for the work and finished product being done. Must be able to work in a team atmosphere with multiple projects and expectations to be met daily. Must be able to pitch in as needed in areas not part of job description but related to the work. MUST complete all tasks and assignments of the company in the context of deadlines, extended deadlines, and missed deadlines. I.e. the work gets done no matter what.

MUST be a professional photographer with personal, up to date equipment. Have a working knowledge of photo shoots for print and digital format. Use of appropriate software and editing abilities. Able to stage, direct and manage a photo shoot as needed – preferred. (separate position including photography possible if not part of the skill set of a designer meeting all prior expectations).

Must be able to direct and manage the work of multiple free lancers and graphic design and photography professionals as needed.

The position will be paid full time as appropriate, NO TRADITIONAL BENEFIT package is provided.

Only candidates living in the Williamson County and immediate surrounding areas will be considered.

Creative Writing, Sales Experience and Photography (with personal camera equipment required) a PLUS and those candidates with multiple skill sets in ADDITION to the core design expectations, will be given top priority.
