On Saturday, September 9th, over 600 people attended River Swing presented by Nissan making it the largest crowd ever! A HUGE thank you to our Co-Chairs Christian and Kathryn Currey, along with Co-Chairs and hosts, Agneta and Brownlee Currey. We were lucky to have a perfect Fall evening under an almost full moon alongside the Harpeth River!
The event marked two major milestones. First, Nissan announced that their cumulative support of the Harpeth Conservancy’s Environmental Programs over the past decade has exceeded a half-million dollars. Second, this year, River Swing raised over $200,000, the highest amount to date.
Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres and dinner from Whole Foods, beverages fromLipman Brothers (including the featured Strawberry Swing cocktail), dancing to Higher Ground, a silent auction and fun photo booth complete with “river” props like an otter and lifejackets. The event wouldn’t happen without our awesome sponsors listed below, and the incredible Tables Hosts: Lin & Bill Andrews, Becky & Bill Barkley, Cathy & Martin Brown, Lisa & John Campbell, Lori & Dan Canale, Susan & Ched Cooke, Agneta & Brownlee Currey, Ann & Matt Dobson, Sarah & Tim Ford, Tracy & Bill Frist, Julie & Tommy Frist, Rebecca & Greg Goodman, Elena & David Graves, Holly & Aaron Hollar, Lee Ann & Orrin Ingram, Sarah & David Ingram, Stephanie & John Ingram, Edie & David Johnson, Sue & Douglas Joyce, Susan & Todd Kaestner, Pam Lewis, George Lindemann, Robert Lipman, Robin & Richard Patton, Clara & John Priest, Sarah & Will Schaedle, Libby & Nick Sieveking, Mary & Alex Wade, Melinda Welton & John Noel, and Diana & Marvin Wilker who brought friends to the event.
