In honor of their SUMMER OF FUN show in Nashville, we were able to have an exclusive interview with the iconic duo from The Home Edit, Clea Shearer & Joanna Teplin! Check out the interview below:

What are you most excited about for the Nashville show?

Since it's the final show of the tour, we are so excited to see our Nashville friends, fans, and family in the audience and give them an unforgettable performance on stage!

What’s your pre-show routine or ritual?

We listen to our Summer of Fun Tour playlist, featuring lots of Taylor Swift, and just relax before going on stage. We also enjoy veggie straws and Swedish fish!

What’s a memorable moment that you’ve had while on tour?

Receiving handmade gifts from fans at the VIF meet and greet has been truly amazing. We've been given paintings of Joanna and me, headbands, and numerous bracelets, among other thoughtful items. Each gift holds a special place in our hearts, and we are incredibly grateful for the love and effort our fans put into creating them.

What’s your go-to dinner spot in Nashville?

Blue sushi or Sperry’s in Belle Meade

What are some hidden gems of Nashville/Williamson County that are overlooked?

Radnor Lake state park is a great place for walking and listening to true crime podcasts. 5 Daughters Bakery- this isn’t necessarily hidden but I always recommend people try their doughnuts when they visit. They are the best!!

Are you more of a maximalist or a minimalist?

Clea: Minimalist. With everything.

Joanna: Minimalist with objects but maximalist in my interior design style.

How did you discover your passion for organization?

Clea - I’ve always been organized. Living in New York, you have to make the most of the space you have and I wanted to make it beautiful, too.

Joanna: I *wasn’t* always organized (I am a completely different person than who I was in college) But once I realized the benefits of being organized, I wanted to share it with the rest of the world!

What can fans expect for the future of The Home Edit?

We have a 3rd book coming out on September 19th, called "Stay Organized," focused on maintenance that we’re so thrilled about! We're also shooting the pilot of the reboot of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and continuing our podcast "Best Friend Energy,” which are both projects we are excited about!
