Meet Courtney Tate, Community Chairperson for the 2025 Ladies of Distinction - Iconic Women of Williamson luncheon.
Courtney is a Williamson County resident, having called Franklin home for almost a decade now. A healthcare business professional with 20+ years experience in the diagnostic laboratory industry, Courtney has many professional success stories and accolades. But more than an accomplished business professional, Courtney is a strong contributor and supporter of community and philanthropic organizations across Williamson County where she works & lives, and beyond. Whether it's as a member of the Parent-Teacher Organizations at her children's WCS elementary and middle schools; a Girl Scouts troop leader, Service Unit leader, and Cookie Coordinator; or a Board member of TAK (Tennessee Alliance for Kids) - Courtney is always look for ways to give back and to pour into and support the next generation.
Courtney was drawn to this event for two reasons: Because of its focus on women - the strength and influence of women, across generations. From the women who will be honored as Iconic Women of Williamson, to the young woman/women who will be awarded scholarships to support their higher education goals, to the even younger women who will participate in various ways throughout the event - as well as the women-owned businesses to be featured, this event highlights and showcases the contributions women have had, and can have, in Williamson County. And because of the attention, awareness and support it brings to breast cancer and breast cancer survivors. And those two reason to Courtney are causes worth celebrating and an event worth supporting.
