We are looking for a self-driven individual with a strong background in customer service and organizational skills. As a key member of our small but fast-paced media company, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of responsibilities, including print and digital publishing, special events, community engagement, providing creative services to small businesses and nonprofit organizations, event coverage, advertising sales, CRM management, and inside sales marketing and communication. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate sales and marketing efforts across print, digital, and social media platforms.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events and community activities.
  • Provide creative services and support to small business and nonprofit clients.
  • Manage event coverage and marketing materials.
  • Handle advertising sales and CRM database management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and execution of projects.
Required Qualifications:
  • Must reside in Williamson County.
  • Experience with or working knowledge of CRM systems, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, and QuickBooks (or similar accounting software).
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with the public and clients at all levels.

 Editorial Content Coordinator


YOUR Williamson is looking for an Editorial Content Coordinator to support our editorial and creative teams. This role is perfect for someone who loves community storytelling, has a way with words, and thrives behind the scenes. You’ll assist with content development, editorial logistics, and contributor coordination—playing a key role in keeping our magazine running smoothly without being the one steering the ship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help manage incoming content and contributor materials for each issue

  • Coordinate with local writers, photographers, and partners to gather editorial assets

  • Write short-form content, event listings, and sponsored pieces as assigned

  • Proofread articles and assist with fact-checking when needed

  • Support the Managing Editor and Creative Director in maintaining the editorial calendar

  • Handle some administrative tasks tied to editorial production (e.g., scheduling interviews, content tracking, etc.)

  • Assist in light digital publishing and occasional newsletter formatting

You Might Be a Fit If You:

  • Are organized, adaptable, and detail-driven

  • Have strong writing and grammar skills, and know your way around a deadline

  • Enjoy being a support system—keeping things moving behind the scenes

Event Photographer


YOUR Williamson is looking for a contract-based Event Photographer to capture local happenings, community celebrations, and curated social moments across Williamson County. This is a great opportunity for an experienced photographer who’s comfortable in fast-paced, social environments and knows how to get the shot without disrupting the scene.

You’ll represent the magazine at events, snapping polished, people-focused photos that match our editorial style—smiling faces, posed groupings, candid interactions, and key event highlights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Photograph events, fundraisers, galas, mixers, ribbon cuttings, and more across the county

  • Coordinate photo delivery with the managing publisher

  • Follow assignment briefs and style guidance to maintain brand consistency

  • Gather names for captioning purposes (first/last, spellings, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Experience photographing events, especially lifestyle or editorial-style photography

  • A reliable camera setup 

  • Ability to deliver high-resolution images on a deadline

  • Professional, friendly presence when interacting with event guests

  • Flexibility for evening and weekend assignments as needed

  • Familiarity with Williamson County is a plus
