How long have you lived in Williamson County? What is it about WC that makes it feel like home to you?
I’ve lived in Williamson County for most of my life, I was born and raised right here in Franklin —it's where I grew up, where my family roots run deep, and where I’ve chosen to raise my own family. What makes it feel like home isn’t just the beauty of the area or the charm of downtown Franklin—it’s the sense of community, the pride in our local history, and the way people truly care about one another. There’s something special about knowing your neighbors, supporting local businesses, and seeing familiar faces wherever you go. It’s a place that values both tradition and progress, and that balance is what makes it feel like home to me.
What is your profession, and what led you to choose it?
I’m a GIA Graduate Gemologist and third-generation owner of Walton’s Jewelry in downtown Franklin. I grew up in the business, watching my grandmother and father pour their hearts into serving our community. After working in event planning for a few years, I realized my true passion was right where I started—back home, surrounded by the history, craftsmanship, and connection that jewelry represents. I chose this path because it blends tradition, storytelling, and relationships, all of which mean the world to me.
Three words that best describe you.
Passionate, grounded, thoughtful.
What do you like to do in your spare time (hobbies, traditions, etc.)?
In my spare time, I love spending time with my family and diving into anything creative—whether that’s working on a home project or dreaming up ideas for the store. I also have a deep appreciation for history, so exploring old places or learning something new about our town’s past is always a favorite. And when I can, I love a good, cozy night with a book or a great show.
Where is your favorite place to go in WC and why?
Walton’s Jewelry—of course, it holds a special place in my heart! Beyond that, my family and I love spending time at The Factory. We often bike over together to enjoy the amazing restaurants and shops—my kiddos especially love Mojo’s and Jeni’s! My husband and I are also proud season ticket holders at Studio Tenn and always look forward to their incredible productions. And we’re all so excited for the upcoming opening of The Carousel of Dreams—what a magical addition to our community!
What keeps you motivated and inspired?
What keeps me motivated and inspired is knowing that the work I do carries on a family legacy while also creating something meaningful for others. I’m inspired by the people around me—my family, my team, our clients—and by the stories that come with each piece of jewelry we handle. It’s the mix of history, connection, and the opportunity to grow and evolve that keeps me going every day.
What organization(s) are you involved with and why?
I’m proud to be involved with several local organizations that reflect the values of Walton’s and my personal commitment to community, compassion, and connection. We consistently support:
• Saddle Up!, which provides equine therapy for children with disabilities
• Harpeth Conservancy, protecting and restoring our local rivers and clean water
• Williamson County CASA, advocating for children who’ve experienced abuse or neglect
• Williamson County Animal Center, helping rescue and rehome animals in need
• NOOK (Needs of Our Kids), supporting at-risk students in Williamson County Schools
• Friends of Franklin Parks, preserving and enhancing the green spaces that bring our community together
• Women of Williamson County, a group of women committed to serving and uplifting others through charitable giving and leadership

In addition, I’ve served on the board of the Downtown Franklin Association, working to preserve the heart of our historic Main Street and support local small businesses.
Supporting these organizations is a way for me—and for Walton’s—to give back to the place that has supported and shaped us for generations. It’s about honoring our roots while helping build a stronger, more compassionate future for Williamson County.
What is the one thing you do not go a day without?
I don’t go a day without connecting with my family—even if it’s just a quick check-in or shared laugh. They’re my grounding force and constant reminder of what truly matters. And coffee. Lots of coffee.
Finish this statement: I AM Williamson because…
I AM Williamson because this community shaped who I am—from my roots in a family business on Main Street to the values I carry every day. I’m proud to honor the past, invest in the present, and help shape the future of a place that has always felt like home.
