It is really all about lifestyle. Do you crave the solitude of country living or need a more urban vibe, to make your home? You can find both here and everything in between. As the ultimate suburban community south of the big city of Nashville – Williamson County has an advantage of being self-sufficient in providing the vibrancy, culture, dining and shopping one looks for in a larger more urban community. You don’t even have to leave at all to find all major amenities and lifestyle opportunities. All of this combined with bucolic landscapes and countryside where the concept of a rural and far away, but close to everything, ideal can become a reality!
Williamson County is a historic goldmine. Our history pervades every aspect and area of the county. It drives tourism and travel and provides for an economic boon that makes ours a community that is vibrant, progressive yet traditional and full of so many leisure and learning opportunities. If you want to learn about battles that took place in Franklin, Arrington, or Spring Hill- there are so many great sites you can visit and stories you can read about. The downtown Franklin historic district has a nationally recognized Main Street Program. Our other main communities of Brentwood, Cool Springs, Leiper’s Fork, Nolensville and Spring Hill are bustling centers for commerce, all surrounded by significant and impactful history of the area
Now, as a Franklin local- I absolutely love this community and think it is such a rich place to move to after retirement, while raising a family, or just as a wonderful location to slow down and enjoy the little moments in life. There is truly something here for everyone, no matter your age!
