Creative Content Coordinator

About the Role

YOUR Community Media LLC, publisher of YOUR Williamson, is seeking a creative, digitally savvy Creative Content Coordinator to lead and support editorial, social media, digital marketing, and graphic design efforts for our print and online platforms.

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Franklin, TN. Candidates must live in and have working knowledge of Williamson/Davidson Counties. Nights and weekends will be required for event coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Editorial & Content Creation

  • Provide support in the print editorial process from concept to publication

  • ​Write and edit original print and digital content

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and high editorial standards in all written material

  • Provide support to contributing writers and photographers

  • Upload and maintain website content (yourwilliamson.com)/(yourcommunity. media)

Social Media & Digital Marketing

  • Develop and execute social media strategies

  • Create, schedule, and post daily content across platforms

  • Monitor engagement, analytics, and digital trends

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns

  • Utilize SEO, Google Ads, and paid social advertising

  • Assist with email marketing campaigns and newsletters

Graphic Design & Creative

  • Assist Creative Director with magazine design using Adobe InDesign (required)

  • Design print and digital ads

  • Create promotional and branded marketing materials

  • Produce graphics and video content for digital use

  • Provide photography for various types of use including but not limited to: ad content; styled editorial features; social media and other digital platforms and content creation; marketing materials and events

Community Engagement

  • Attend local events to capture photography and social media content

  • Build relationships with local businesses and community leaders

  • Represent the brand professionally in public and online

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related field

  • Proven experience in editorial, digital media, or publishing

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign (nonnegotiable)

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

  • Experience managing social media platforms

  • Working knowledge of SEO and Google Ads

  • Experience with video editing and mobile photography

  • Strong organizational and project management skills

  • Must live locally and have reliable transportation

  • Must have a personal laptop and cell phone

  • Will not utilize AI to complete editorial assignments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in publishing or media industry

  • Broader Adobe Creative Suite experience

  • Event photography experience

  • Experience with Canva or social media management tools

Compensation & Benefits

Community Engagement Manager

This position is for an outside sales specialist for print and digital platforms. We are looking for a sales and media savvy team member to close sales and specialty promotions within our local publications - both print and digital advertising opportunities, as well as community event sponsorships.

This person must have be comfortable prospecting, researching and cold calling strong advertising candidates within a regional area for print publications and coordinating websites and social media sales aspects. Must be a self-starter, highly organized and possess a go-get 'em attitude. Sales is the focus in this position, with unlimited opportunity and the ability to also integrate and immerse yourself into the company and the creation of fabulous community publications, as part of our creative and socially dynamic team.

This person must be comfortable engaging in both high-level sales opportunities as well as more local opportunities. They will be responsible for meeting sales goals and driving the success of sales within the company.

This person will work in tandem with the Publisher, to direct ongoing monthly sales goals, they will be responsible for aiding in development of strategy and marketing for sales campaigns and special projects.

They will be responsible for developing and maintain sales database, helping to create promotions for print and online sales opportunities.

Must be a go-getter with a leadership attitude. This person will be a part of the team! They will be responsible for other marketing, networking and community relations activities as part of the overall sales role including but not limited to: event coverage and attendance, writing copy for advertising and marketing campaigns, company event promotion and participation, distribution and delivery of magazines, etc.
