Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse Nashville

Updated: Jun 30

A Decade of Dining Excellence in Music City

Step inside Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse Nashville and discover far more than dinner, with a culinary experience unlike anything else in the city. For a decade, the restaurant has brought its signature blend of world-class cuisine, meticulous service and exceptional hospitality to the heart of Music City. Tucked away just off Broadway at the end of the historic, neon-lit Printers Alley, the steakhouse offers a sophisticated retreat that appeals to both discerning locals and visitors looking for an authentic piece of Nashville.

From the moment you walk through the doors, you are fully immersed in the signature Jeff Ruby Experience. Every detail is intentionally designed to indulge the senses. The glamorous lounge area offers curated live entertainment each night, set against a dramatic backdrop of feather chandeliers, intricately tiled floors and elegant Art Deco décor. The outdoor patio features a cozy fire pit, creating an urban oasis for cigars, bourbon and conversation.

At the center of it all is an uncompromising commitment to culinary excellence. Jeff Ruby’s proudly serves nationally acclaimed U.S.D.A. Prime steaks, fresh seafood, sushi and one-of-a-kind culinary offerings hand-picked from around the world. Led by Chef Nick Ellison, the culinary team travels internationally to hand-select extraordinary ingredients, including Grand Champion Miyazaki Wagyu from an invite-only auction in Japan.

The menu features distinct dishes unique to the Nashville location, including the Dolly Roll, Nashville Hot Oysters and the premium Music City Flight featuring Japanese A5 Wagyu, Spanish Bluefin Tuna Belly and Golden Ossetra Caviar. Alongside these exclusives, guests will find classic dishes such as the Cowboy Steak, a twenty-two ounce, seventy-day dry-aged bone-in ribeye, and the Steak Collinsworth.

These offerings complement Jeff Ruby’s signature steakhouse menu and pair beautifully with iconic sides like the baked macaroni  and cheese featuring six imported cheeses, creamy mashed potatoes and the signature Freddie Salad.

The experience doesn’t stop with the entrées. Guests can end the evening with tableside dessert service that includes signature dishes like the Boot Scootin’ Ruby, a decadent, golden, boot-shaped cake that has quickly become one of Nashville’s favorite sweet finales.

For private gatherings and special events, Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse Nashville offers several distinctive dining spaces that celebrate the spirit and character of Music City. An authentic speakeasy door leads guests into The Speakeasy, home to a 200-year-old apothecary cabinet and an extensive collection of rare and exclusive spirits. The Jeff Ruby Room offers timeless sophistication with a white marble fireplace and antique Tiffany stained-glass panels, while the Music City Room pays tribute to Nashville’s legendary music heritage with memorabilia from icons including Tammy Wynette, George Jones and Hank Williams Jr.

As Jeff Ruby’s Steakhouse Nashville celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, the milestone marks a meaningful moment in the restaurant’s story and a reflection of the legacy it continues to build.

“When we opened in Nashville ten years ago, we saw a city with extraordinary momentum. We wanted to bring The Jeff Ruby Experience to Music City in a way that could live up to that energy and spirit while offering something distinctly our own,” said Britney Ruby Miller, CEO of Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment. "A decade later, what makes this location so special is not just the steaks, the atmosphere or the nightly entertainment - it’s the people. Nashville welcomed us from the beginning, and we’re deeply grateful to celebrate ten years of unforgettable moments with our guests.”

Today, the restaurant is part of a broader legacy more than four decades in the making. Jeff Ruby Culinary Entertainment is an independent, family-owned and operated restaurant group with seven nationally acclaimed fine dining restaurants across Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.
