Williamson Health Foundation's 31st Annual Champions Golf Classic and Par-Tee on the 19th Hole to Benefit Local Student-Athletes
On an early fall day in the Tennessee hills, Williamson County locals will once again gather for a day of competition, camaraderie and community impact. The 31st annual Williamson Health Champions Golf Classic and Par-Tee on the 19th Hole returns October 5th to Nashville Golf & Athletic Club in Brentwood. Presented by the Williamson Health Foundation, this highly anticipated community event brings together golfers, local businesses and supporters for a day of fun and philanthropy.
Proceeds from the event benefit the athletic training program at Williamson Health and Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee. This program provides vital care to more than 7,500 local student-athletes each year at no cost to the schools. Following a record-breaking 2025 event that raised $362,678, anticipation is building for another successful year in 2026.
“The Champions Golf Classic has become one of our community’s most anticipated fundraising events, and we are excited to build on that momentum in its 31st year,” said Leigh Williams, executive director of the Williamson Health Foundation. “Whether you join us on the course, attend the Par-Tee on the 19th Hole or support the event as a sponsor, your participation helps ensure local student-athletes continue to receive the expert care and support they need to stay healthy, safe and active.”
Play by Play
11:30 a.m. - A shotgun start will kick off an afternoon of play on immaculate greens, with a cart-service lunch allowing for an uninterrupted competitive experience. In addition to the round, on-course activities and contests will be featured throughout. Blue Delta Jeans will serve as the official Player Gift Sponsor, generously providing complimentary on-site measurements and a custom pair of jeans to each competitor.
This event brings together familiar and new faces alike, including community leaders, business professionals and philanthropists, in a purpose-filled atmosphere, all in support of a great cause.
5 p.m. - The afternoon of competition gives way to an evening of celebration with the return of the Par-Tee on the 19th Hole, starting immediately after the tournament concludes. Hosted by Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee, this crowd favorite is open to golfers and non-golfers alike.
The celebration begins with golf awards and a cocktail hour, followed by a silent auction and Putting for Purses, a female-focused contest that combines skill, fashion and philanthropy, hosted by Williamson Health Foundation Capital Campaign Co-Chair Caroline Bryan. Participants purchase opportunities to win coveted designer purses, which have been donated in support of Caroline’s favorite causes.
"Our signature ‘Putting for Purses’ contest at charity golf events has become a fan favorite - and for good reason! There’s nothing more entertaining than watching someone sink a putt with laser focus…all because they’ve got their eye on that one perfect handbag - whether it’s for them or a lucky loved one,” said Bryan. “We’ve had some incredible designer bags donated for this great cause, and it’s such a fun way to raise extra funds right on the course. So don’t forget to bring your wallet - and your short game - because you’re definitely going to want in on the action!”
7 p.m. - The night’s not over yet! As the sunlight dims, the stage lights up. Attendees can look forward to dinner, a live auction and musical performances from celebrated local artists. Join in the festivities with fellow supporters of the Williamson Health Foundation. It’s the event of the season you don’t want to miss!
Swinging for Impact
More than just a round of golf, the event serves as an afternoon of impact. By investing in this game, participants are directly investing in the future of Williamson County student-athletes. Through the athletic training program, certified athletic trainers from Williamson Health and Bone and Joint Institute are assigned to all Williamson County public high schools, providing sports medicine coverage to all student-athletes at their respective schools.
“Our athletic trainers are dedicated to caring for the athletes, both on and off the field,” said Jay Moore, ATC, director of athletic training for Williamson Health and Bone and Joint Institute of Tennessee. “We are grateful for the community’s continued investment in a program that makes a difference to the lives of thousands of Williamson County student-athletes each year.”
Community members and businesses looking to support the athletic training program have several opportunities to get involved. Golf foursome teams, Par-Tee on the 19th Hole tickets and sponsorship opportunities are still available at williamsonhealth.org/golf-tournament.
