The Titans’ Unwavering Commitment to Inspiring the Next Generation of Athletes and Serving the Community
Sharing a love for the game, the Tennessee Titans are united for a common goal: to play football with excellence. However, giving back to the fans who support them and the community that rallies around them is equally important to the team. Within the Middle Tennessee community, the Titans have built a reputation as players who can be counted on to show up and serve when needs arise, inspiring the next generation of resilient athletes.
The team is embarking on a new season marked by bittersweet endings and exciting beginnings. The 2026-27 season is the last time the Titans will play at the current Nissan Stadium as construction on the new stadium wraps up. With an understanding of what Nissan has meant to the community and to honor its legacy, the Titans community has created opportunities to celebrate through special events and exclusive merchandise, fueling enthusiasm around this season.
“On the field, I am most excited to watch this young football team continue to get better. Titans General Manager Mike Borgonzi has brought in an outstanding, experienced and well-respected coaching staff that I believe will develop a championship-level team,” said Taylor Zarzour, broadcaster for the Titans Radio Network and host of The Brian Callahan Show. “The Titans had another great draft and brought in a lot of elite talent during free agency, all of whom I think will contribute and make this a fun season to watch.”
Players to Watch
TE Gunnar Helm
“He has quickly become one of QB Cam Ward's favorite targets. I love his work ethic and the passion he plays with. Fans should watch for him to become one of the most elite players at his position.”
CB Alontae Taylor
“Having grown up in Manchester, he is ecstatic to be back in his home state. Alontae used to come to Titans games as a kid, and it’s his dream come true to put on a Titans jersey. The pride he has for this team and this state will be evident in his play, and I can’t wait to see the impact it has on his teammates.”
DT Jeffrey Simmons
“No one in the NFL played at a higher level last year, and after looking at Coach Saleh’s system on defense, I believe that Big Jeff will have even more in the tank this year. He is the ultimate teammate, and I’m looking forward to seeing his leadership result in more wins for the Titans.”
The team’s dedication on the field translates off the field as well. The Titans have worked with Hands On Nashville to help neighbors remove debris from their yards following Winter Storm Fern earlier this year and answer calls for concert staffing needs, revealing an immediate response to community needs and a dedication to service each day.
“Serving the community is constantly on the minds of those that work here, from our players and coaches to the members of the business staff,” said Taylor. “Titans Together, our employee volunteer program, puts together volunteer activities every month that allow us to get out of the office and into the community.”
Mentorship is another way that the Titans serve. The team offers a variety of camps for young athletes to develop their skills, build character and appreciate the value of working on a team. Through the Junior Titans Cheerleading program, attendees will perform in the home game on October 25th. Other youth opportunities include the Junior Flag Runner experience and Rac-Pack, the team’s official kids club.
"Our goal is always to empower the next generation of Titans," said Jenny DeLoach, Vice President of Fan Engagement. "The Rac-Pack Kids Club is designed to be a fun and engaging community that allows our youngest fans to feel like part of the team and gets them excited about football and the Titans."
New this year, fans are invited to attend one of the eight free 2026 Titans Training Camp practices at the Vanderbilt Health Football Center or Nissan Stadium. The team is also collaborating with nonprofits and local community groups to welcome first responders, veterans, Special Olympics athletes and football players from youth leagues, bringing people together to celebrate the beginning of the season.
“There is so much talent in this organization right now. I think this is going to be the year that the Titans turn the corner, and they are going to do it in new uniforms and for the last time in current Nissan Stadium,” said Taylor.
This upcoming season is full of anticipation for what is to come, representing growth and fostering greatness among current and emerging athletes, as well as in service.
