Fall Makeup Trend Report

Every new season ushers in new trends. As natural beauty resurges, it’s unsurprising to find some subtle looks on the list. However, that’s not holding us back from the occasional fun eye-look. 90s and 00s nostalgia are back in full swing, and with that comes lived-in, “I don’t actually care” perfection.
The Subtle Smokeys
Imagine a first-date appropriate smoky eye. Romantic, modern and very wearable. Don’t restrict yourself to blacks and greys only. Think espresso, chocolate, olive, plum and charcoal.
A Natural Glow
Skincare-forward routines. Glass skin. Balmy completion. The trick isn’t necessarily wearing less makeup, but knowing where to prioritize coverage and let your natural features shine through.
Blush & Bashful
More blush, less contour. Avoid looking overly sculpted, while still lifting your features and adding dimension with blush. It appears more natural, feminine and effortlessly chic.
Grunge Glam
Mineral-swept eyeshadow, a berry lip and all the 90s nostalgia. Unlike the smoky eye, this mineral-washed look lacks dimension. Its simplicity gives an “I threw this on” attitude, while utilizing intentional colors such as slate, pewter, mushroom, greige, or a muted charcoal.
Eyemaxxing
The perfect way to make your natural eye color pop is to utilize complementary eyeshadow hues. For green eyes: purples, burgundy, reddish tones and pinks. For brown eyes: warm bronzes, rich golds, deep plums, and earthy terracotta tones. For blue eyes: copper, bronze, warm browns, and berry tones.
