Twenty years ago, aesthetics looked very different than it does today.

Injectable education was limited, and many of the techniques we now consider standard simply didn't exist. I began my career at a medical spa in Lexington, Kentucky, but quickly realized that if I wanted to become exceptional in this field, I needed a stronger foundation. 

That decision led me into plastic surgery, where I spent eight years working alongside Dr. Pat Maxwell and Dr. John Moore. Every facelift, rhinoplasty and reconstructive procedure reinforced something I still believe today: great aesthetics isn't about changing someone's face - it's about understanding it.

That philosophy has guided every chapter of my career.

Over the past two decades, I've had the privilege of becoming a national and international educator, training more than 5,000 physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Teaching remains one of the greatest joys of my career because I believe our profession becomes stronger when we raise the standard together.

While my career has taken me around the world, my heart has always been in Williamson County. I've called Tennessee home for more than twenty-six years, with the last eighteen spent here. My son was raised in this community, and it shaped not only our family but also the kind of practice I wanted to build.

When I opened The Look Aesthetics in 2017, my vision was simple: create a practice where patients feel genuinely known, appointments aren't rushed, and natural, timeless results always take priority over trends.

Today, that vision has grown into our Berry Farms practice, serving patients throughout Williamson County and beyond. We often welcome patients who travel from neighboring states because they value experience, trust and thoughtful care.

I've often joked that we're Williamson County's best-kept secret, and honestly, that's exactly how I like it. We've never focused on being the loudest practice. We've focused on being one of the most trusted.

None of that happens without an incredible team. Over the last nine years, I've been fortunate to build a group of women who are exceptionally talented, deeply compassionate and committed to serving others well. Together, we've created a culture where patients feel seen, heard and genuinely cared for.

That mission became deeply personal as I built this practice during one of the hardest seasons of my life. Going through a divorce strengthened my desire to help women become financially independent. Whether I'm mentoring our own providers, coaching aesthetic entrepreneurs or educating clinicians across the country, my goal is always the same: to help women build confidence in their careers, in their decisions and in themselves.

Because confidence changes everything.

After twenty years, I've learned our work isn't really about Botox, fillers or lasers. It's about helping people become the most confident version of themselves. When people feel seen, heard and confident, everything else follows. That's been the mission of The Look since the day we opened our doors.
