Meet Me At Merry Little Market

Consider this your invitation to the holiday party where everyone is on the guest list. On Thursday, November 19th, Merry Little Market will transform The Barn at Sycamore Farms into a festive holiday gathering filled with local shopping, complimentary bites, seasonal cocktails, Christmas music and plenty of reasons to grab your girlfriends and stay awhile.
Hosted by Williamson, Inc. and presented by Ascension Saint Thomas and The Barn at Sycamore Farms, the free event will take place from 4pm to 7pm and is designed to be equal parts holiday party and local marketplace - an easy way to celebrate the season while supporting businesses right here in the community.
Come straight from work. Meet a friend there. Bring your mom, sister or favorite group of girlfriends. Shop a little, sip something festive and kick off the holiday season together.
Shop Local for Everyone on Your List
Merry Little Market will bring together dozens of local boutiques, artisans, makers, authors and small businesses, with up to fifty vendors filling The Barn with gifts you won’t find everywhere else. Among them will be Ciao Bella Boutique, known for its curated collection of Italian imports, and Mystery Stack Books, which turns highly rated books into ready-to-gift experiences by pairing a mystery title selected around the reader’s favorite genres with self-care surprises. Both businesses are now part of The Collective Boutiques after previously operating at Painted Tree, giving local shoppers another opportunity to reconnect with businesses they may already know and discover where to find them this holiday season. Local authors will also be on hand, including Williamson County’s own Megan Alexander, giving book lovers the chance to add something local - and perhaps signed - to their gift lists. From gifts for teachers and coworkers to something special for your best friend (or yourself), the market is meant for browsing, discovering and shopping small.
Stay for the Party
Of course, no holiday party is complete without something to eat and drink. Waldo’s Chicken will serve complimentary bites, and Char, the newly opened restaurant from 4Top Hospitality, will make its Merry Little Market debut with tastes from its new Cool Springs location. The drinks will be just as festive. Tini Baby will be serving holiday martinis, while Chillz on Wheelz will be mixing up merry little margaritas. Christmas music will set the soundtrack for the evening, and Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there for free photos because you are never too old for a Christmas picture, and the kids are welcome to join in the fun, too.
Make a Night of Shopping Small
Merry Little Market is ultimately about bringing the community together during one of the most festive times of the year - and making it easy to support the people behind local businesses while doing it. Every gift purchased from a local boutique, maker or small business represents more than another item crossed off a list. Those holiday dollars stay closer to home, supporting local entrepreneurs and the businesses that make Williamson County unique.
So, text the group chat and make plans for November 19th! Come for the shopping. Stay for the martinis. Take the Santa picture. Discover a new favorite local business. And celebrate the start of the holiday season with a community of women who know that shopping local is a lot more fun when you make a party out of it. Learn more at williamsonchamber.com.
